Acceptable use

Last updated

Indably publishes to other companies' networks on your behalf. Those networks only allow it because the apps they approve behave well, so these rules protect every customer, not just us. They're part of the terms of service.

You may use Indably to

  • plan, approve, publish and report on posts and ads for accounts you're allowed to manage: your own, or a client's with their permission;
  • connect your own AI apps and let them draft posts, as long as a person is responsible for what's published.

You may not use Indably to publish or run

  • anything illegal in South Africa or where it's shown, including content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark;
  • hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that incites violence;
  • sexual content involving anyone under 18, in any form, ever;
  • spam: the same post across many unrelated accounts, fake engagement, bought followers, or anything else a network calls inauthentic behaviour;
  • misleading claims, fake reviews or testimonials, or posts that hide that they're paid for (TikTok, Instagram and others ask you to disclose branded content, and Indably asks you every time);
  • political ads, which LinkedIn and TikTok ban and Google allows only for verified advertisers;
  • impersonation of a person, brand or organisation you don't represent;
  • links to malware, phishing or scams.

You may not

  • connect an account you're not authorised to manage;
  • try to get around a network's limits, or Indably's: rate limits, approvals, or the roles your team set;
  • scrape, resell or share other people's data from the networks;
  • probe, overload or attack Indably or the networks. If you find a security problem, tell us at security@indably.com and we'll thank you for it.

AI-written posts

AI apps connected to Indably act as the person who connected them. What they create goes through the same approvals, and the business that publishes it is responsible for it, as with anything a person writes.

What we do about it

If a post or account breaks these rules or a network's own rules, we may pause publishing for that brand, remove the content from Indably, or close the account, and we'll tell the account's Owners why. If a network asks us to act, we will. Where the law requires, we report illegal content to the authorities.

Report misuse to hello@indably.com.
